Samuel Trottier-Lapointe

OPPQ Member

Graduate of a master's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Montreal, Samuel practices in a private clinic, is a physiotherapist in the family medicine group (GMF) of Magog and is involved in the profession by being vice-president of the Quebec's physiotherapy association (AQP). 

Samuel has completed his sports first responder training, his level 2 from the Quebec association in advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy (AQPMA), training in vestibular management from the OPPQ and is an expert in the management of TCCL (concussions ) with visuo-cognitive impairments. 

He is passionate about the outdoors and outdoor sports. Active in cycling, hiking, running and cross-country skiing, Samuel tries to move as much as he encourages his patients to do so!

Laurence Forget Besnard

Physiotherapist

Laurence Forget Besnard graduated in 2018 from the University of Montreal with a master's degree in physiotherapy.
She is currently completing her Fellowship with theCanadian Academy of  Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Laurence also holds her level 1 coaching training in swimming, a training in bicycle injury prevention and a training in running analysis from the Clinic of the runner. 

In addition to being a national-calibre swimmer, she also participated in judo, volleyball, soccer and lifesaving sport. Today, she still swims, bikes and runs.

Having done her master's project on osteoarthritis and chronic pain, Laurence likes to see motivated and active patients.
